Hey, I want to install vista-32bit, but i want a clean HD. Can someone tell me how to swipe out my entire hd

When you boot from the installation DVD, you will have the option of deleting and recreating the partitions on your hard drive. Deleting and recreating a partition will wipe out all the information on it. When you select the newly created partition to install to, it will be formatted automatically.

How clean you want it? I would suggest running dban on the drive first then install. Dban will make sure the drive is clean and no data remains.

If you want to prevent against any traces of sensitive data being left over then sure, the above would be a good choice - otherwise I wouldn't personally bother, just do a normal format within the installation.
