Just drive the car smooth and you get better gas mileage. Nothing else really.

True, but like i said just drive smoothly and you save a bunch of gas that way. When a car is said to get 30 mpg most people get 22-25 because they drive harder than the test. Drive as nice as you can and you max out your MPG.
 
Typically, the Aftermarket Chips available for Fords are designed to increase actual performance, not fuel economy. It also voids your warranty.
