Floppy Drive help

I am having prablems with my Ulra Floppy Drive Card Reader.

The Floppy Drive works and the Card Reader was being seen by Win XP Pro.

Then I had to Re Install windows again one day so I Un Pluged the Card Reader part of the Floppy Drive from the Motherboard.

It uses a USB Connecter that goes to a USB Header.

So I re installed win xp pro and when it was up and running I pluged in the USB Cable to the USB Header.

And re started the computer and it now wont see the Card Reader.

I tryed Un installing the USB Contralors and re start and still wont see Card Reader.

I tryed diferant USB Headers and still wont work and all my USB Headers are good.

Then I thought I would unplug everything Floppy Drive Ribon Cable Floppy Drive Power Cord Floppy Drive USB Card Reader from USB Header.

And when I re started the computer the Floppy Drive Icon was still in my Computer WHY??

If the whole this is out why??

Have you reinstalled the drivers for the card reader?

it has now Drivers it works USB only.

And why is Floppy Drive Icon still in My Computer even if I unplug the Ribon Cable and Power Cable???
