Went back to my old cheap-o mess with cheapo computer.
I powered it up and nothing happened:eek:
Fixed that (Unplugged four pin connector)
So I fired it up and here is what happens.
Everything fires up (Hard drive spins, DVD drive can be opened, processor fan spins, green motherboard light comes on)
Then I hear one short beep, and this usually happened when the computer was working fine.
So I get one short beep but I still don't get video.
If I take out the RAM I get a different pattern of beeps, so I know RAM is good.
I am now thinking it's a video card problem.

It does sound like a video card problem. did u check if the video card is in there all the way

Yeah I did..
It's an old computer I found, so I won't be putting any money into it I'm hoping it's something I can switch around.

on your motherboard manufacturers website (should be under downloads) you should be able to find a manual that tells you what those system beeps mean

You see, this one high school that my grandma (Love her) works at was throwing them out, I told her to grab them.
I only get the tower, no box nothing, so I really don't know anything.
The funny thing is I only get that one beep when I unplug the keyboard ps/2?
