David, will the pts/bar intervals be changed or will we remain at the 100 then 200 until 11 bars?

Yeah I think that will have to be changed too, I might increase it slightly so some people have a few less bars but at the same time I don't want to put off new members

personally, i dont care about the bars, its a neet feature yes, but it dosnt show how 'smart' someone really is.

You could do it on a increasing scale of 50.

Pts to bar:

Total of 50 for first
Total of 150 for second
Total of 300 for third
Total of 500 for fourth
Total of 750 for fifth
Total of 1050 for sixth
Total of 1400 for seventh
Total of 1800 for eighth
Total of 2250 for ninth
Total of 2700 for tenth
and finally,
Total of 3200 for eleventh

Ok I've updated the reputation scales but it appears that most users still have the same number of squares (the reputation text has changed though)
