Router specilists help!

okay i was messing around with my router
and i seen that i an update the firmware
(i was using the web interface)
it gave the option to choose the file
well i have no flippin idea what to file to look for
its a linksys wireless g router if that helps

You need to have the file on your PC before you can look for it....What type of router is it specifically? WRT54G? Thats what I have.

You need to first download the file fromt Linksys' website. If you go on there you should be able to enter the serial number for your specific router and find the right firware update.

If you're not having any problems with your router, then there is no need to do this as might cause problems if it's not done properly or if you don't get the right file.
