I just took over the kitchen, lol. I hooked up my wireless Rock Band Wii drum kit to my laptop. Then i installed Xpadder and configured it to type text in. Then when i hit each drum, it types the corresponding letter into a mini app i wrote. it then plays a sound for that letter. But, my netbook doesnt have the best speakers, so i hooked it up to the input of my moms $150 bose sound dock. and cranked it all the way up. but i need better sounds for the toms. the ones i downloaded are syntheitc drums. my snare, crash, and bass are good though =)

Lol I bet, Sounds like a cool idea. I have seen some people make there drum kits into real kits. I don't remember where I seen them though. But I'm sure google does =P

I have seen some where they took multiple drum kits for more snares and such.

My band director and the 8th graders in band were screwing around with his laptop doing that with their rockband drums... and we had to practice for graduation...
