This is why I try and stay away from these. Or at least say something intelligent that doesn't make me look like a fanboy. People that just come in here and say "Macs suck" or "ApPlez FTW!!!1111!!" just tick me off. If you don't have a good argument to make, don't say anything.

I thought I would reinsert myself into this thread and distribute some fair positivity:

Although there are some minor exploits to avoid, as in any cyber-situation, I feel that my Macbook is endlessly useful when it comes to viewing pornography and web research. I really enjoy how it handles Firefox lately. And its very simple for me to perform "quick" cleanings of cookies, cache, history or any malicious content.

I would assume I type about %20 faster on my MacBook than I do my Microsoft Ergonomic keyboard, though this USB keyboard is the most superior I've used for gaming.

Im kinda late as far as this thread, but my opinion is that apple's OS is definitely much better than windows. It's their hardware, and their closed licenses that I don't like. Most of their hardware is highly overpriced, and nowhere near being up to the standards of a custom PC, or a few PC brands for that matter. IMO, what I would really want if I could have any system would be a good custom PC running mac.

But not a hackintosh. Those suck.

I disagree on Mac OS being better than Windows. This is only my opinion, but I don't like the fact that Mac OS X is not as compatible with software (or hardware for that matter) as Windows is. Sure, you can get a Mac alternative for certain Windows programs and such or you can even install....Windows, on your precious Mac.

The only thing that makes a mac more stable than a pc is that the hardware is specificly made to run on that OS. I like PC just because of the price to performance ratio you get for a PC. I just get whatever is cheap and powerful

Other way round (same with Linux) - software and hardware are not compatible with the OS, not the OS not being compatible with hardware and software
