game patch

I am making backups of some of my game cd's and i'm wondering if there is a way to patch the game before i put it on the cd

It'll depend on what the patch / game is, but the most likely answer is no, at least not very easily. Chances are it'd take far longer to figure out than was worth it, unless you want a challenge for the sake of a challenge!

If there's space, I'd recommend putting the patch installation files on a root directory of each CD - that way while they're not installed with the program, they're readily accessible straight afterwards.
