If you had $800...

If you had $800 to spend on a new computer that you were going to use for editing,viewing and burning HD video, plus playing a bit of COD type games, what would you buy? Remember,this will need to be a complete system, no use of previous parts.
I'd prefer pre-built, but would possibly consider a barebones kit with the needed additions. Building one is just a bit too much for me at my level of computer knowledge.
If I had to, I could possibly go to $900, but that would be the limit,and would prefer less so I could buy a game or software too. Oh yeah, this is Canadian $ too, so it needs to be something I can find in Canada.

If it had to be pre-built, I would head over to portatech.com and configure either a P2 or a core 2 quad system. They're prices aren't bad, and a couple of my friends have bought from them before, and they seem to do a good job.
