Google Chrome help!

I have grown a love for firefox over the years, but its just to glitchy for me now... So i switched to chrome and when im chatting on facebook every time i get an IM from the chat bar it downloads the little pop sound, the file is POP.mp3 and by the time im done i have like 100 pops in my download folder and its annoying, help please?

I get something too when I'm chatting on facebook. I'm using firefox and everytime someone messages me in chat I get a bar across the top that says it needs to download quicktime. Well I ain't downloading quicktime.

Sounds to me like something going on with facebook. Have you tried using it in firefox and IE to see if that happens there?

facebook is ok for me using either aol's browser ie8 ive not experienced any issues.
