im looking at getting 2 2GB sticks for my pc
right now i have 4 gb of ram
and the timing is 4-4-4-12
should i find ram sticks with the same timing for the best performance or what?
im looking to keep it all Corsair inside
so if you can any links or advice is more the greatly appreciated
thanks

You're running a 64 bit OS, yes? More memory than what you have now won't do any good without a 64 bit OS.

It's OK to mix memory speeds/timings. But it's always best to have memory timings that match for the best performance and compatibility. The thing to remember is that when mixing speeds, the faster memory will be down-clocked to match the slower memory's speed in the BIOS.

It's kinda hard to recommend some RAM when we don't know what you currently have. ;)

well i max my 4 GB out and my pc really hates it, and so do i
so thats where more ram is coming from
