New Build and Questions (Update, new questions)

Hey Guys,

I haven't built a new, higher end computer for a few years now (4-5). It kinda took a back burner while I was grinding through some years of college. Fortunately, I've saved up some for a new rig and have decided to build me a new computer.

So far, this is what I've came up with, probably using most of my budget:

CPU: i7 920 Nehalem

GPU: VGA 896-P3-1255-AR GeForce GTX 260 Core 216

MoBo: ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 (Open Box)

PSU: Rosewill RBR750-M 750W, ATX12V

RAM: OCZ Gold 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3

HDD: Black Caviar 640 GB Sata 3

Case:

I'm also picking up a new monitor to make better use out of the build. My main concerns are these:

I want to play new and upcoming games rather well with this build.
Down the line, in a couple of months maybe, get another 260 for SLI. The question here is the PSU beefy enough to hand this.
I also will be overclocking some.

I was wondering if I could get your comments/concerns on this. I thank you for the help. I plan to buy this by next week, two weeks latest.

Naw, Rosewill PSU's arent great. OCZ's are awesome. That's what I have.

As everyone here can tell I am an AMD fan, but the i7 is really nice. I will offer the 955, but your choice. most here would chose the i7.

Very nice. Should be a real screamer.

I would look for a differnt PSU though. It's the heart of your system and you don't want to skimp there. I'm with foothead here, a nice OCZ or Antec would do you well.

EDIT:

The PC Power & Cooling S75QB 750W would be an excellent choice. They make one of the best PSUs on the market. Very strong and reliable.

Just if you go OCZ, be sure its gamexstream not stealthxstream. The game is modular, which is very good. I think it has 4 rails.

EDIT: the game has 2 PCI-e x16 power connectors so thats what you want for SLI.

I'm not up to date on this whole SLI thing (was just coming to market last time I made a comp for myself), so even though the 260 req. two 6 pin PCI, two in SLI only require two?

Thanks for all the help already guys, making me feel a lot more confident about it.

Alright, thanks. I might go with the 850W version of the OCZ GameXStream for power concerns.
