thats it i think
thanks for your time ( i know this'll take a while to look through)

You could save A LOT of money on somethings and not sacrifice performance.

Most HD 4890s will OC to a 1GHz core with a voltage increase through a BIOS flash which is fairly simple to do, I could run you through the process. That is $100 more than a reference clocked card, that's $200 more for the pair.
Just go with these and save yourself $200, trust me.
Phenom II doesn't require the extra bandwidth, DDR3 provides no performance increase over DDR2, that's evidence enough. Just go for a 1333 kit with some low latencies.
Why the SSD? It doesn't sound as if you're running any apps that require the extra speed. This is a waste of money IMO, save it for other things.
You really don't need to spend that much. Something far less expensive will be fine for this build. Xigmatek 750W Modular.

If I were you, I'd go with a 30" panel with the money that you save. Now THAT would be worth it :)

thanks for the advice how do you overclock the 4890 with a bios flash? it'd be great if you could run me through the process. the only reason i picked out those were because of the water cooling. i'll probly go with the one you recommended but can you give me a water cooler or something to use with it?
i wanted an ssd because i was going to put the OS on it as well as some other small apps, but if you think i wont need it then i wont get it.
i got the psu because i'm probly going to upgrade more in the future (add more hdd's etc)
i dont think i'll go with a 30" lol, my dad would never let me get something that big for my room (thats where this thing is going) and dont they have larger response times if they're bigger?
i think i'll use the money i save on games or something

also one more question, when is ati going to come out with a new graphics card?

thanks a lot, i really apreciate your advice

Holy crap, that computer could easily max crysis out with 60+ frames, unless you're on a crazy high res.

Ummm....the Hanns G 28" monitor has a 3ms response time and is very cheap ($339), so go with that. It has HDMi in so it could be ur TV too

You don't need any more graphics power. sheesh.
I mean 2 4890's. That's insane. U would probably do just as well with a 4870x2.

U don't need water cooling. If u plan to do hardcore OC, go with the i7. That's the overclocker.

Long story short--- Your whole rig is overkill. Don't waste your money. You don't need that. You really shouldn't spend over $800-900 on the computer.

Your profile says you're 12...Where do you even get that kind of money at 12?!

Honestlly, for crysis on 30 fps, you could spend WAAAAYYY less.
Here is a wishlist I created for my rig.

It has changed a lot into my final build

It was originally like a $400 build, but I decided on gaming.

Also in my own opinion its a bad idea to make a parts list and then order them 5 months down the road. you dont know what we will have in 5 months.

agreed, wait till your ready to buy your come then start the list, new comps come and go on a short period of time and prices decreases as well.

But Jesus,
Where is a 12 year old gonna get that type of money.
You have to be 14 to legally hold a job.
I'm having to work full-time all summer just to buy my rig.

What's it matter?
He might have been saving it for a while.
Maybe it's for a christmas present or something, and his parents said they would get him anything under X amount of dollars.
Maybe he works under the table for a family member or something.
Maybe he just typed the numbers in backwards and they're 21 :p
Anyhow, if he is 12, then he's the luckiest 12 year old I know...
I finally just managed to scrape the cash together for my $350 build, and on that I even saved money because I already had optical drives, HDD's, and a case. I can still play crysis on very high ~40 FPS btw :D
