Is it worth it?

The Q67 is a better overclocker but runs hot and has a much smaller MTBF than the Q84 which runs at a lower stock voltage due to the 45nm architecture. As well as the Cadmium Transistors that can take a little more abuse. But the Q67 has 2Mb of level 2 cache per core instead of 1Mb and has large multipliers. The Q67 could probably come out on top if you overclocked both their maximums.

If you'd like a little help overclocking, hit me up on AIM or by PM here at CF. I used to overclock my Q66 pretty hardcore.

Alright man ill keep that in mind itll prob be a few weeks before i get it but ill let you know just spent all my money on a new golf club driver.

I'm an overclocking expert on the Intel Quad-series :) The Q67 has a 10X multiplier and the Q84 only has an...8 I think. Same FSB on any board with a 2x difference. Just assume a new 790i with a 1600MHz capability: (1600/4)x10 versus (1600/4)x8

EDIT: Math corrected :)
Oh, and TD and NE sell them I believe.

TD - Q6700 OEM
NE - Q6600 Retail
