Is it worth it?

tigerdirect.com is where i always go i know a bunch of people who have had problems with newegg and most of the stuff is better priced on tigerdirect so i tend to avoid newegg. But what do you think would be better the Q84 or the Q67?

I would say so. Get the 8400 but make sure your mobo will support it. mine won't. It only supports the Q6xxx's for some reason and there is no BIOS update for it.

i know this is gonna sound like a dumb question but im useing the nvidia xfx 750i mobo how do i know if its compatible with the Q8....

It should support them. The Newegg listing says it supports Core 2 Quad / Core 2 Extreme / Core 2 Duo 1333/1066MHz processors.
