HELP!!! New computer won't boot

ok...

not touching the case...still won't boot

should i try like lifting the motherboard out of the case...?

thanks for ur help btw holy

If the board is receiving power but won't turn on, or even spin the fans you need to check the headers again. If you must, find the power-on header pins and use a flathead screwdriver to jump them. The issue may actually be in the power switch itself.

Try running your motherboard outside of the case on cardboard or an anti-static bag. This is a very common problem. Have you plugged in the CPU power cable? It should be a 4 or 8 pin. Make sure there aren't any screws behind the motherboard tray.

ok...will do...

grantofhell said it was probably the board, so ill swap out my power supply and test a different one...and if it doesent start then ill probably just RMA the board
