good receiver ?

i have a samsung 250watt system package came with dvd upconverter but the thing has like no inputs

so i found this what do you guys think?
its 500watt ill plus the speakers from the samsung system right into it
just wanted an opinion and to see if any one new of any thing better?

Wow. That's really nice for $150. I think mine is like 200 watts, and it is dying, so I might consider it too.

I absolutely hate how Sony advertises its receivers. That 500 watt rating means nothing in real life. Look at this rating instead.

Watts per Channel - 100W
Total Harmonic Distortion - 1%

That THD rating is a bit high. I'd look elsewhere.
