they DID find water on the moon

Not possible. The moon never did have an atmosphere. And when it got blasted out of the earth's early forming crust, it was from the desolate North American batholith. And now there is not enough depth of crushed debris for ice to have accumulated even IF there was ice there in the first place.
And another thing, why would National Geographic know if there was water on the moon??? They don't have moon observing satellites and have never sent their own geologic teams to the moon. This article is not scientifically backed.
