i recently downloaded call of duty (a torrent shame on me)
and it worked fine until about an hour ago. when its starts up an error message appears that says
"miles sound system initialization failed.
The single player does not work properly without sound.
make sure you have your sound cards latest drivers and DirectX installed
i'm positive i have directx installed but i'm not sure about the sound card drivers. how do i find out which sound card i have so i can install the latest ones? the computer its on is a laptop thats about 3 years old.
(all the manuals are lost/thrownaway/spontaneously combusted/etc.)
