First computer build please help

yeah... he could do with a ddr3 board...but ddr3 is usually more expensive and not really that much better

ok then i am goin to keep away from the tv tuner i can just bring my tv n set it on my desk as well.

so would the ddr3 be a good choice or not? again i want the computer to be an upper end computer for couple years down the road so would the ddr3 be worth it or not

n yea i know that if i do choose a ddr3 i would have to do a new motherboard n cpu but do u think that it is worth ot or not just ur guys personal opinions?

no, you will be fine with ddr2

Ok here goes. A nice Phenom II X4 AM3 CPU/mobo/DDR3 setup:

AMD Phenom II X4 810 2.6GHz Socket AM3 - ASUS M4A78T-E AM3 AMD 790GX

2x G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666)

Now add in the case/PSU, DVD burner, HDD and video card, the total comes to $663.93. Still not too bad.

ok final set up is going to be put into a new thread ill post the link after I create it i just want to start a new one so it is first page and more organized with the final design it is much more in depth however it is missing a fan so i want to know a good choice for a fan because i kno the fan is the last thing i want to fail so i want the best fan that you guys think will never fail for me and as well failry inexpensive
