The oxygen combine with some other minor gases would also be use for a breathable atmosphere in the lunar base and the EVA suites. And guess what else? When it comes time to liquefy the gases the compressor station would be built in the shadow of a mountain or on the dark side of the surface. Why you say? because the night side or a sustained shadow will drop to -200 degrees or lower. Gee wouldn't that make it so simple to liquefy a gas if it's colder than crap to start with? Are you getting where this is going?
