so... in theory i should be able to lison the the LG set to the audio channel, while i am watching the tv on the PC channel (dvi-hdmi) . this would work right, right?

hope yall fallow me.

What I found works the best for me is a Buffalo Linktheater device in my home theater system connected by HDMI to the AV receiver. You basically connect it to your home theater system like it was a dvd player. The Linktheater device has an ethernet port that allows me to access and play video files from any computer on my local network, or from any of my Network Attached Storage devices.

Sorry, I forgot to address your question. Yes this should work. Kind of like having a really super set of speakers on your computer
