Hello. I am finally going to star building my new system, but I need to know which mobo to pick.

These are my current options.

I am not interested unless it has DDR3 support. I am going to be using a phenom 2 955 whiich I plan to OC to 4.2 GHz.
Right now, I am definitely leaning toward the ECS black series. I own the AM2+ model for my media rig, and it is hands-down the best board I have ever owned. I am not really interested in the built-in graphics unless it will let me run the HD3300 crossfired with my 4850x2 that I am going to buy, so it can also output to my HDTV.

thanks.:D

I'll have to think about that. My P5LD2-VM has been slowly dying since 2 days after the warranty ran out. Now, It can't even write to the HD, but it can read it, and this is with 2 different HD's on different SATA ports, since my IDE was the first to go.

Like I said, my AM2+ ECS is the best board I have ever owned, and I've had a few very expensive ones.

I prefer ASUS (IMO) and i built a computer with this motherboard. It's been a year now and it has seized to amaze me.

Yeah. I usually prefer ASUS too, but I spent almost $200 on that board, and I got 92 days on it before it starts dying.

How do you know it is dieing? It might be something else, ya know?

Is there more then it just not being able to write to the HDD?
