Is anyone using a Solid State Hard Drive?

I would say that you are better off getting a Raptor. They generally have more space and aren't to far off from SDD's.

But SDD's are top of the line as of today.

you ever see that video where they were testing like 20 OCZ ones and they opened more then 50 programs is 20 seconds?

Space isn't so much a problem for me. I was looking at one of the reviews where the guy said the SSD booted twice as fast as his Raptor. I'm just wondering what unseen pitfalls may be involved.

The read times are great on the SSD. But the write times aren't anything to write home about. A VR will be better for overall performance.
