Actually, I've had the same issues with my USB wireless adapter from D-link. I believe it's an overheating issue. I would get a notification that my network connection is "excellent" when I normally only get "very low". So I click status and it doesn't show the status bars and the connection timer has been frozen. I felt the adapter and it was very hot. My suggestion is to try cooling it with a fan. Or just buy a new PCI adapter for like 20 dollars.

Well all this just soudns great. Looks like I'll be selling this adapter if PCI wireless cards work OK with Windows 7.

But does anyone have any ides why my games keep crashing/ get artifacts? And Rohan, I'll try your suggestion on switching out the CPU and checking out the CPU pins tomorrow.

I second that. I can't use the drivers on the ASUS CD. I just get an error.
