I'd go with one of the first 2. AR can probably come around with a linky to some good reviews. As for me, I'm off to bed. 4AM and I have to get up for church in 4 and 1/2 hours!

EDIT: Btw, you could use blue cold cathodes to light up your case too. The 900 already has great cooling, IMO.

If your aren't doing any overclocking, you really wont need an aftermarket cooler as the one that comes with the CPU is sufficient for normal use.

yea i was planning on getting the Xigmatek HDT-S1283, read the reviews for it and it got a positive feedback.

alright here comes a dumb question, but ohwell.
what does OC'ing do to your comp?
does it increase the performance of the part that is being overclocked?

Yes, it increases the performance of the component you are overclocked. You can increase the overall system performance by overclocking the CPU, memory and video card. But you should only overclock one at a time to insure overall system stability and then move on to the next component.

ahhh...does the cpu or video card come with a program that lets you overclock right away in windows? cuz from the videos i seen, people had to go to their bios and do it from there

You can get utilities such as AMD OverDrive that will allow you to overclock the CPU, memory and video all in one app.

CPU and Memory are tuned in BIOS. GPUs are usually a program within Windows; a lot of times, from the chip manufacturer themselves. Others are 3rd party software.

EDIT: AR, how stable are in-OS OC programs (CPU/RAM), though? I guess I've heard of them, but I've also heard they aren't quite as successful. Do they allow you to up the v-core, and that kind of stuff too?

You can make one now and put it in a wish list. You don't need a credit card until you make your first purchase--then it will prompt for one.

I really don't know. I've heard both good and bad about AMD's Overdrive. I have it installed, but haven't really played with it much. Many people do have good success with them, but I feel that you may get the best results by manually overclocking the memory and CPU through the BIOS.

Yes, as long as it has the Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express logo on it. You will use it as a regular credit card.
