so i just changed ISPs and my new ISP (Cox Communications) crack down on torrenting. i know peer guardian keeps them from knowing what im downloading but where do i start?

well actually if the ISP itself tries to crack down on torrents, theres nothing you can really do. maybe encrypting the torrents?

peerguardian only blocks you from connecting with anti-p2p organizations and stuff. it doesn't hide anything.

He PROBERBLY got a warning because somone complained to his ISP. You can HELP to stop that from happening by using PeerGuardian. If your ISP is throttling BitTorrent connections, you can try using Protocol Encryption.

yea exactly. the ISP usually doesn't care. its the anti-p2p organizatiosn that notify your isp and complain and then your ISP has to let you know.
