Oh.

Model Name: PowerBook G4 15"
Model Identifier: PowerBook3,5

Is that it? All I know is that it's one of the earlier PowerBook G4s. Apparently the early models were notorious for the LCD screen hinges breaking or the video cable wearing out from the screen constantly being opened and closed. After this it was the aluminum bodied Powerbook G4 that looked just like the first-gen Macbook Pro but without the Intel hardware and the MagSafe power cord.

No, The proberbly wouldnt give you a new on. They most likely have a policy on dead pixels... According to some random forum, it's 8 pixels or more.

You can download programs that attempt to un-jam them, like this one: http://www.jscreenfix.com/basic.php

My brother had one of those. They are pretty good, IMHO!

Maybe back when it first came out, but now it's just slow and bloated. I can hardly play a video on YouTube or Hulu without it lagging at parts.

Newegg - Monitor Replacement Only Return Policy

The following conditions are not acceptable for return, and will result in the merchandise being returned to you:

* Any LCD screen with fewer than 8 dead pixels. This is the guideline established by the majority of the product manufacturers.
* Any monitor that has been found to be damaged due to physical abuse or misuse.

Is it a dead pixel, or stuck? Dead pixels are usually black while a stuck pixel is usually a bright spot.
