currently I was only going to have one card. you may be right though, I may as well up the psu now so I could add one later....

you are talking about the heat sink for the CPU right? I could not find one on new egg?
how do I know if a heat sink is compatible with the i7?

I probably should have put this in my first post but this is going to be my first build. I'm a little new at this so please forgive me if I need you to use small words

look for the socket type of the i7... then go on newegg and look for heatsinks that are compatible with that socket type

The Core i7 you selected includes a heatsink that will work just fine.

If you ever plan on overclocking down the road, a better HSF will be required as suggested by Holysky. You'll need a heatsink that is compatible with socket type LGA 1366.

with the high quality parts in your build I would suggest a more reputable psu company, Rosewill's are decent for low to mid range builds, but you want a top notch psu to power the rig you're getting...

I'd suggest this psu, CORSAIR CMPSU-850TX 850W, it's surprisingly cheap for a quality psu, just ask techmaster05 what he thinks, oh wait, just click on the link and read his review on teh 'egg...



this Antec Signature SG850 850W is my dream psu, it's expensive, but it's also one of the top psus in it's class, if not the top psu, just read some reviews, and no I don't mean Newegg reviews, I mean jonnyguru and [H]ard|OCP type reviews done by professionals...
