GOM Player help

I have GOM Player and it was playing my MP3s.

But now I see all my Files and my Wave Files tuned back to Windows Media Player Files.

And it never Played any of my DVDs and it whent online and got the Codec and I installed it and it still want play it.

the computer always asks for Windows media player.

How can I get GOM Player to work???

Check the files associations for the gom player. Mine are set just to play the odd files like mkv and flv. The rest go to the media center.
However you can set gom to be the default player. Check in the set up tabs.

OK what I just did is Uninstalled it and Re Installed it and Checked Accosat All File Types.
And Re Started my computer and it plays the Audio files.

Now I know when I put a DVD in it will have to go online to get the codec to play it.

And like befor I will download it and install it and re start my computer.
Will I have to do anything els to get it to play DVDs like open up the codec and set something or it should just use it?

I thought GOM Player was for just videos? Well that's what I use it for anyways.

OK it plays Audio and wave and mp3

Now when I put a dvd in and it can't play it it goes to the net and I download the codec.

Then I install it.
It still want play do I have to do anything els to the GOM Player or the codec???
