I'm gonna be 18 in just a couple weeks. Never had a freaking job because parents were opposed to it. Now my mom wants me to get a job.

I'm currently retraining in NDT (Non Destructive Testing), we take X-rays and other stuff of welds and steel structures to ensure they comply to the relevent standards

That sounds like a pretty awesome thing to get into actually. Hope it all goes well. And DON'T blast yourself or us with X-Rays while you're at it.
