how do i do sli? plug in both cards to mobo attach sli bridge attach psu power cables turn on comp and install drivers then restart and if nvidia control panel asks me do i want to enable sli click yes obviously?

thanks!!

Rohan buddy i know you said you were selling your gtx 260 are you still selling it mine is the EVGA GTX 260Core 216 55NM 896MB version do you have that same one could i slii both the cards?

The motherboard you chose is Crossfire. Check out this board. You need a board with a Nvidia chipset. Your power supply should support a Core 216 SLI.

All I did was stick in the second card and throw the bridge on. The Nvidia control panel takes care of everything. You just have to go into it and enable the setup. It's easy as clicking your mouse twice.

There are also this board.
ASUS M3N72-D

How much was it for sale for? Is their any problems with it? maybe this Thursday or Saturday cuz i could buy the card maybe this week n the mobo next week or something like that omg this will be sweet!

on my current psu all my peripheral slots are used up by my fans and one being my 2nd dvd drive, my current psu video card power plugs are plugged into my video card right now so id hve to use the molex ones but all my extra plugs are used up...

rohan tell me about that psu you have the one you were selling does it have 4 pci express plug ins

any one else got any input? id love more opinions

For future reference: The only chipset you will find outside of Nvidia chipsets to support SLI is the x58. Nvidia allowed Intel to use their SLI technology with their x58's only. any AMD based board supporting SLI is almost unthinkable, especially since AMD bought ATI - Nvidia's main competitor. But, most dual PCI-E x16 slot boards support CrossFire; even Intel's boards.

EDIT: That PSU looks good. PC power and cooling is a pretty well-known brand. Infact, they are the better version company of the PSU I have. "PowerUP". You could probably find an equal supply for a little less. But like what is always said - You get what you pay for.

ok thanks guys

so you think i should get that board above? and another gtx 260 probably from rohan and that corsair psu

that psu wont be on sale for long, But I know rohan said he can only hold his gtx 260 for like a week i want to buy it

is sli even worth it?

do i really need that 750 watt psu cuz i know rohan said he was running sli of a like 600 watt psu or w/e
