VGA to AV Monitor

hey, i just got an VGA to AV cord for my laptop so i can see my laptop screen on the TV.. (i want to play my n64 emulator on it)

but there's 2 main problems..

1.) the screen is really screwed up.. it looks like there's 3 pictures of the screen, each on really skinny

2.) it's in black and white..

i've messed with settings and downloaded ultramon beta for vista.. nothing helped

right click on the desktop > go to personalize > screen settings > adjust the resolution and set the tv as your primary monitor and that should fix the screen looking really "screwed up"

nope... didn't work.. the laptop resolution is 1280x800 and the TV resolution is at 1024x768
