Hi. I am looking for some word processing software but i don't want to spend a fortune on Microsoft Word. I have seen a free download on 'open office'. Does anyone know if this is any good?

Yes, it is compatible with word. In my mind is the best choice out there,

AbiWord is quite good too... but it's pretty lightweight. I guess that's not always a bad thing though
