Speakers make weird noises when I play games

When I'm playing games (Call Of duty 4 and other games) my speakers make weird noises. When I'm not playing any games, everything works fine. Any idea why this is happening?

What sound card or integrated sound chip are you using? Do you have the latest drivers installed?

I have Creative SB Audigy. However, I got rid of the creative speakers that came with the sound card. I now have Logitech G51 Surround Sound Speakers. But, I use the Creative software, since the Logitech didn't come with software.

I hate to ask the dummy question, but you're not placing your cell phone next to the speakers during game play, correct?

lol well now you mentioned it... that was actually the problem. The speakers work just fine now. Thanks =)

Sounds like a sound card issue for ya. Try uploading some new drivers, or, if all else fails, just spend $25 on a new one. Depending on how old your speakers are, the issue may reside inside them (say more than 5 yrs old).
