I got my Steelseries 5L mouse pad back from RMA today. It doesn't skip like my old one did, I'm so happy right now .

How does a mouse pad "skip"?

Tracking issues. Mouse and mouse pad from the same company and it wouldn't track correctly. The cursor would sort of "skip" back and forth on the screen.
