What hardware is apparently having problems running on an Nvidia based motherboard?

It's one of his USB instrument interfaces.
I might be wrong, but I believe it's the Tascam US-1641 (or maybe just Tascam 1641?). He checked out the manual and the only thing he could get from it was that it's 32-bit only on XP and Vista. Haven't had a chance to check out the manual myself.

There are drivers available for Vista 64-bit on their site: Tascam US-1641
I think the main thng as that it needs a USB 2.0 connection. I only saw one reference to it not working on an Nvidia based mobo. It may have simply been a USB 1.0 interface on that particular board.

I found the drivers, but on the "Specifications" tab on that same page, it says the drivers are incompatible with 64-bit... so I wasn't sure what to make of that when I saw it. Weird.
I thought about that and wondered if maybe they were using 1.0, but on one forum I saw that the guy stated he was using 2.0 and still having problems.
Also, what do you know about that processor? Seems like in the reviews on Newegg, people either love it or hate because of the trouble they have with it.
