4870 power consumption

well ive been looking at an i7 with a 4870 crossfire gaming machine!
thats why i asked
and i have found a couple of cases that have locations for 2 PSUs

That thing is already $60, he can get something to power his whole system for ~ $100
OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W would be my recommendation. The 600W would work too but the 700 is only $10 more so...

thanks for the suggestions guys
that booster thing looks like a waste of $ to me
i would rather buy another PSU and build an box somewhere on my PC just to house it
and say 'hay, i made it work, and i made the box also :D'
but thats just me

yeah i was just messin with you, i dont even know why they even released a product like that. Go with worshipme's suggestion, its 80 plus certified and has a $30 mail in rebate. Which is a perfect deal

if you want a psu that will last through a few more upgrades consider this Corsair for ~$105 after mail in rebate, this psu can handle about 99% of the systems out there...
