why is crysis lagging

Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT
Gaming graphics 1791 MB Total available graphics memory
Primary hard disk 15GB Free (233GB Total)

they are the details on my computer.
according to the crysis site i viewed my computer is alot higher then the system requirements.
but even when i put the resolution on the lowest (800x600) and all the graphics on low it still lags!

could someone tell me why this is happening!
or what needs to be upgraded to fix it

You aren't that much higher over minimum specs. What resolution are you trying to play at?

oh yeah and when i go somewhere with heaps of enemys a message comes up and says crytek has stopped working or something along those lines. and when i try and open sandbox

Yeah, it's a driver issue. Try uninstalling and then reinstalling your game. Do the same thing with your drivers.

Not to be rude, or burst your bubble. but that build isn't exactly anything MAJOR.

Take a look at my gaming rig in my sig...and i still lag on crysis. You would need some serious video cards/cpu.

Nice build none the less...
