I want to buy a new pc , but i'm not really sure of what to buy. I want a smooth running desktop that will be able to play the new sims 3 smoothly and be update able, and i have a budget of 500 dollars. I already have a aftermarket hard drive that i can install, and if need be, i'm willing to buy a new video card if needed.

can anyone make suggestions? i don't want to be screwed over, lol:D

Watch your language. Few questions first.

Where do you live in the world?
What size monitor do you use?
Do you (want to) overclock?
Do you need a monitor?

i apologize on the language:)
i live in the US, and i currently use a 15" monitor but i may buy a new one, and overclock? i'm sorry i'm not computer savvy at all

thank you for responding though:)

overclocking is changing the default settings on your hardware to have it perform better - it voids the warranty though.... but its like free money (u get better hardware than u paid for)

so im guessing you won't be overclocking....

if you want to have a good gaming pc and stay under that budget you probably dont want to buy a new monitor....

ur probably looking at something like this, though it doesent come with keyboard, mouse, or speakers (this will run you like 40-60...)

Ok now to answer your question.
1)Your Going for a Asus/Msi/Dell Build
*Website Links*
www.dell.com (Dell)
www.newegg.com (Msi)
www.Asus.com (For The Asus)

These MIGHT not work if you live outside the US/Australia.
So..
www.oo.com (Ships to UK/Europe)
www.newegg.com (sometimes Ships to World-Wide)
www.ebay.com (Sometimes ships to World-Wide)

Overclocking can be done on ALL of the Asus/Msi/Dell Desktops.

Moniters come with them :)

and they are mostly under $900.00 (Depends where you live again)

UK=$300-400.00
USA=$400-500.00
Europe=$550-600.00

It all Dpends on where you Live.

Also MOST of them will have Good graphics cards and Good Moniters Sizes

ASUS (RECOMMENDED BY ME)

EDIT:i just sore your Comment ok your going to want to go with www.newegg.com (That WILL save alot of money)
