Don't feel bad. I've never had a computer that got more than 2000 3d marks in 3d Mark 06.

mine got around 20,000 in 3D Mark 06, My 3D mark vantage scores are in my sig though

shouldnt your current computer do it? Mines was able to, and it seems like yours is better than mine. 3DMark06 needed an pretty good CPU if I remember correctly.

But the computer in my sig (as of yet) has not been able to run long enough the get 3D Mark 06 installed. That's why I said I've never had a computer that got above 2000. Oh, and the motherboard and the CPU in my sig are on the way!

The 2 computers I've had prior to the one in my sig #1 P4, 512MB RAM, 5200FX and #2 Athlon X2 4200+, 1GB RAM, 8500GT. That's why I've never had a score above 2000.

u think that once i get my new HSF, and crank up my phenom to 3.4 or 3.6 would increase it much?

just a bit disapointed that after all the money, hard work, ect, its only 9,000, lol.


but i am able to multi task like theres no tommarow and play all at max, so i guess i am happy.

I would think you should be getting something like 15,000 sniper. That's weird that you aren't.

My Processor: E2180 over clocked to 3 GHZ (2GHz is stock)

My GPU: EVGA 9800 GT - Over Clocked as high as it can go with out crashing with the fan set at 100% for the test. I think it was something like 700/1750/1000 but I dont remember exactly right now as I am at work

Memory: DDR2 667 - 2 gigs

So with this fairly out of date old setup I managed to get a 7650 Vantage Score for the GPU Test

no 15k for his setup is WAY to high, the 9k-10k mark is wat his rig really deserves
