I've been looking around for a somewhat decent laptop that can handle games like counter strike, combat arms, and maybe wow that is under 700-600 dollars. I looked at the dell studio slim desktop but i dont know if it will be good for that. should i get an inspiron or look at Hp's?

The Inspiron is a very nice line of laptops. I would suggest looking at www.ibuypower.com.

Have a look at this one from iBUYPOWER: AMD Phenom II AM3 DDR3 Configurator. Just change the video card to a 9800GT and you'll have a very capable gaming machine for under $600.

looking at those laptops makes me angry lol

the laptop i have now is terrible compared to those and this is 3x the price (i got it 2 years ago... lol)
