New build suggestions on a budget

Thanks for the replies. Well I can buy sooner within about 1-2 weeks. But I was just giving a larger timeframe to give me a little more budget.

Lets say I was gonna buy in 1-2 weeks. I have 250 in cards to Tigerdirect. and I will put 1-200 of my own money. Lets knock out the big stuff. Small components I can pick up later.

My hard drives and CD/DVD is IDE.
I dont need a keyboard/mouse or monitor.

That 309 tag Rooster came up with is nice. What else would I need?

I plan on selling my current HP D530C PC as well.

you would need a monitor if you count that as a big thing...

also, a cpu cooler if you are planning on overclocking

Nothing. With that kit and video card, just plug in your drives, keyboard, mouse, monitor and speakers, and you're good to go.

Guys, we'll need to be suggesting a SATA HDD or CD Drive. I like the Seagate 7200.10 series 250Gb with the 16mb cache; very fast drives.
