As far as multiple versions of the same writing being grounds for invalidty and unreliability, please don't be so silly. Take a best selling book for example. It is translated into tons of different languages to get the message out to all different people. Same with the bible.

Well I'd hate to burst your bubble, but I'm very religious and I believe that God may have created the earth/universe in 7 of HIS days, which may be equal to 7 billion real years. 1 of God's days = 1 billion years in real time. That's how I see it.
And I do believe that it is stupid that dinosaurs lived with humans, at least modern humans.
And I do believe that animals have a soul or else they would have no idea of love or affection. And that in that of itself is a flaw of the bible because humans have love and affection just as animals do and humans have souls so therefore animals must too.
I do believe in abortion rights and the right of choice.
And I have absolutely nothing against homosexuality. As a matter of fact, I have several good friends who are gay. And I don't mind spending time with them one bit. And although I'm not gay, as long as they don't try and come onto me, I have no problem what-so-ever with their gayness.
I do however believe that sex out of marriage is immoral but if kissing is technically the "worst" sin in the bible (since it's sex), then I have committed the largest sin in God's eyes. But I'm still here and I liked sex and I'm guilty of it all. And you know what? I'm OK with it.
And that science is the devil? I try and explain everything with science if I can. I rarely use religion in any argument. Moral or scientific.

So there. I just proved you wrong on a number of levels.
