I would recommend you move down to a GTS 250 or a ATI 4850. The Core 216 is overkill for your resolution.

i originally had a 4850, but people suggested i go 4870.... what would be the best? if this thread stays alive, i can repost the EXACT resolution

You're running at a low resolution. A $300 GPU will perform around the same as a $150 at your resolution. I say keep your 4850. You will see some performance gains but not enough to justify the money you're spending.

let me post a picture, and can you tell me like what games i can play on what settings, etc with the card that i have? i dont need to play crysis on v high at max resolution, i would just like high w/ like 30+ fps or so... to give you an idea
