over the last 3 months or so, i have started to feel more and more sympathy for the female porn stars. When i used to watch it, it was just a way to relieve stress and stimulate myself. now, i am kinda sad when i watch the stuff and dont really wanna do anything.

Although the industry focuses on the female a lot more than the male, male porn stars are much more eager to do their job than the females are. males are paid much less, but usu. they get to have sex with a woman way out of their league. the females, on the other hand, get paid more, but have to go through sex with a man they feel nothing for at all.

sometimes, you may see a female not be physically stimulated at all through an entire scene, but at the same time, she is pretending to enjoy it by forcefully making pleasurable noises that make the video better to watch.

so evry day, when she goes to work, she has to put up with having intercourse with a man she doesnt love, maybe having to swallow cum from a man she doesnt love, making a man she doesnt love happy and satisfied, and perhaps even hurting herself because of an exceptionally painful session.
All of this goes on, but the female herself does not experience any pleasure.

they may even find it hard to secure actual love with a person. if they ever do get into a real relationship, the male partner may find it hard to tolerate the female's occupation in which she physically comes into sexual contact with many other men.

well these are just my thoughts, and i hope i can open up some sort of discussion.

There was a show on VH1 (TRUE LIFE whatever) about pornography. The female porn star wouldnt change her life for the world even though she had a really good education, graduated at the top of her class and has the brains to have a really great job getting paid well. They love their porn jobs more than you probably love computers.

That dosent make any sense at all ??

Anyway i think that its important that porn stars have free choice with this its a job just like everyone elses job and if thats what they chose to make their money then its within the framework of legality so in my eyes there is nothing wrong there . They are making a more decent living than some other people
as others have said in this thread though things like rape videos are illegal and in my book i could never consider that porn,

on a related note another question we where discussing in class the other week was about prostituion and wether it should be legalised what do you all think about that one ?

Don't think it's fair to call any of these women whores, some of them have to do this stuff to make a living, others, more popular, doing it because of the incredible living they can get out of it.

I don't feel sorry for them at all, they're laying on their back making noises and there are sad guys out there paying to watch it... who's really being exploited??

PS. Real rape videos are not legally allowed on the internet as porn. The "rape" videos you see are staged (but still, if you ask me, disgusting)

Just read muz's post. I do think they should legalise prostitution. Whilst it's not something i'd ever turn to, i think it's important that the girls that are doing this stuff have the protection of the legal system behind them if it goes wrong, most girls aren't in these industries for the long haul, and without legislation they can get very badly burned by it.

To the majority of these women its a professional job. It's not like they're standing on a street corner hustling to feed their drug habit! They have huge houses, many cars and bling to pay for.

Not only that but they also get paid a shed load to do what they do. They're not whores, they're workers - some are business women that lead a 'normal' life with their kids etc.

And they don't necessarily like having that much sex. Its a job to them. Go behind the scenes and you'll see that its not about 'bang bang bang bang oooooo aahhhhhh' and finished. Its a film that has many takes. The man has to 'stay hard' the women get 'dry' and it can be frustrating for them just like.......... making any other film.

I enjoy the odd film - some are actually funny - and I sure as hell don't feel sorry for them. Like I don't feel sorry for other actors in other films....

Its a tough job but someone has to do it.

LMAO i don't really think they really make 10k for 1 session but they do make alot of money and they get into it on their own free will. Most of them were giving it out to people for free all the time so IMO why not get paid for what your already doing.

strippers are not any more of a whore than a porn star IMO. They are both giving it up for money. only the stripper is just showing it the porn star is actually "giving it up"
