Not sure if posting this in the correct place.
Have a bit of a problem. My wireless internet connection disconnects from time to time. When diagnosed it says turn wireless capability on using switch at the front. This is not the problem as this is definitely switched on.
I have also made sure it is switched on using the fn and f8 key as this is another way to turn it off on my laptop.
Problem is ususally resolved by a couple of restarts ar a further diagnosis which gives me the option to turn on wireless by clicking the button in the dialog box.

Anyone know how to fix this I am running a Toshiba Satellite Pro laptop with Vista 32 bit

Thanks in advance

Ok are you downloading or just using alot of bandwith right before it disconnects??

Are you on AC power or on battery when this happens?

How far away are you from your router?

What brand and model of router do you have?

ok well it happens both in college and at home so its def not router. Sometimes i am downloading yes but not always? Im not sure but i have a feeling i have been on battery everytime it happens

right click the icon on in the tool bar and press repair. That might help sometimes
