Can this support dual graphics cards?

You can change alot of items, but I went with strong brandnames to make sure that your computer runs hard and long. Some of the items can be lessened, such as the harddrive, but this would be an optimum 800 dollar build for me. the 9800GTX+ is a nice model and is very capable. You could also step down the case or if you already have one you want to use. I think the CM690 comes with some fans so it saves you some cost and looks good. I also went with a 750i because it is a high power board at low cost. It's really just the new 680i with some more support options and higher bus speeds. It will match perfectly with a E8400.

Whoa thank you so much! How much more a difference would a quad core processor make on this build?

Unfortunately, not alot without spending vast amounts of money. The next step up would be a Q6700 or a Q8200. Which, to be honest, an E8400 would probably outperform both of those quads in gaming.

The total is $674.94 and everything has free shipping. It's your choice for a case. Choose something sexy, haha. You don't really need aftermarket thermal compound and a cooler. You only need an aftermarket cooler when you're overclocking. I guess Grant forgot about AMD.

:d I like it except the PSU. I tend to stick to ones with a maximum of two rails. Unless in the special case of Corsair, they use a different transformer per rail.
(oh and AMD, but that's just preference.)

OCZ make great power supplies. He will have enough power to support his system now and when he adds another Core 216.

It doesn't look like you'll get a good gaming build too cheap here. If it's going to be an AMD system, i'd have to let another person take it from here as I'm not really the best person to be suggesting AMD/ATI based items.

EDIT2: Does it cost you more to order from Newegg? Because you could certainly buy basically the same stuff through them.
