Vista SP2 Released / Leaked

Vista SP2 has been released today to manafactuers. While a public release date is unknown, it's already hit the internet. The article I found was posted while I was reinstalling windows for the first time since the service pack 1 release.

why are they relaseing vista SP2 beta when 7 is confirmed in 4 months lanuch times. this makes no sense.

It depends on what's in the service pack (though it's most likely just a roll-up of all the updates released after SP1). Microsoft did the same with XP. They released SP3 long after Vista was released.
